EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Alumni Talk, a professional development seminar organised by the MBA Semester 3 students, was successfully held on November 27, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm in the Smart classroom, SMBS. The session featured alumna Ms. Amrita Sunilkumar. The program began with the formal welcome by Prof. Dr. Johnny Johnson, Head of the Department, followed by welcome address to the attendees by Sooraj J Nair.

The talk primarily focused on guiding final year students through the process of creating professional, high impact resumes. It included topics like what recruiters really want, the anatomy of a winning resume, common resume mistakes, essential professional attributes, making a lasting first impression, job search strategies that actually work and the action plan. The talk concluded with a short foundational session on leveraging LinkedIn for professional networking before Malavika S Nair delivered the vote of thanks.
