- Mahatma Gandhi University was accredited with A grade by NAAC in 2017
- 31st position in NIRF (National Institution Ranking Framework, 2021) among universities conducted by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.
- In the Times Higher Education Rankings 2021, Mahatma Gandhi university has been placed in top 600-800 Universities across the world and in the 15th position among Indian institutions. Besides, Mahatma Gandhi University also secured 141st ranking in the Times Emerging Economies Ranking 2021 and 154th position in Times ranking of Asian Universities.
